Deer vs Bike
Well this morning was a cloudy start to a day, but 60 degrees with a high of 70 and clearing up. With the way the weather has been ill take any day to jump on the bike and get a ride in even if it is just to go to work. I started off with all the gear and as the morning turned out in glad I did. After about six miles down Col Gleen road I saw something out of the right corner of my eye. Looked like a dog running out of the fields next to me. It had ears sweep back, head pointed in a sleek aerodynamic style, as if he was racing me. Little did I know and milliseconds later, this was a deer that was not interested in racing just crossing the road. In comparison to the vehicles in front and the similar ones trailing I was his chance to make it across. My R1200C was was nothing in the lineup of SUVs and cars.
