4 Peaks 1 Day

The Central Arkansas Chapter Harley Owners Group (CAC HOG) had a fun ride this past weekend, June 24th that I got the opportunity to participate in. It was 4 mountain peaks of Arkansas in one day: Queen Wilhelmina, Mount Magazine, Mount Nebo, & Petit Jean. Round trip from home to the meetup and back home was 399 miles and with the stops and lunch was about 11 hours 15 minutes. Leaving Rock City Harley we went down I-30 to US-70 towards Hot Springs. We then cut over to US-270. And as you can see, headed out of Little Rock, we were quickly greeted with some of Arkansas's wonderful weather. Had to make an unscheduled quick stop to put on some rain gear! Luckily I thought ahead and grabbed some before walking out. Continuing on US-270, there was a break in the rain and made our next scheduled stop to stretch the legs, drink some water, and have a snack. We then pushed on to AR-88 to Mena, to gas up and stretch again. Made it through! At this point we had pushed through the rain and...
