Road Debris

It has been to long since my last post and quite a bit has happened. March 6th was a beautiful Arkansas afternoon. On my commute home traveling southbound on I-430 a car from the center lane kicked up a piece of plywood. The piece came and went so fast, I'm estimating it about 2' or 3' wide and about 2' tall in a half moon shape. As the piece came up there was little to do than hang on. It traveled from right to left hitting the windshield on the left side and then making contact with the handlebar and my knee. At the time only my left hand was hurting. I dropped my speed and was still trying to figure out what happened. Looking down to the controls I notice that the assembly had been bumped almost an 1" from where it should be. I was unsure at this time wither I could pull the clutch back because of my hand and the damages. Since Rock City Harley was at the end of I-430 I figured I would just keep going and figure it out when I got closer. The moment of truth was ...
